“Steve Reich is a pioneer in bridging what he himself has identified as the 'artificial' gap between Western art music and popular music today. No other living composer has had a more celebrated influence on such a wide range of artists and it is truly wonderful that Cork is amongst the host of international cities holding a festival in tribute to Reich during his 75th year.” – Carolyn Goodwin
