102 years and still on the road! From village parties in the early 1900’s to bigger dances in the ‘30’s, broadcasts in the ‘40’s, commercial recordings in the ‘50’s, foreign tours in the ‘60’s right down to their current international profile, each new generation slots into the groove of their forebears.

Their music has been recorded both on CD, (eight to date) and frequently features on Radio and TV. Their cd “Set on Stone” achieved Platinum status and “Live in Lisdoonvarna” received “Traditional Album of the Year” from “Irish Music Magazine” in 2002. Their latest album "Chapter 8" (produced by renowned flautist and Lúnasa stalwart, Kevin Crawford), continues their trend of innovation and offers a glimpse of a dynamic band of immense musicality, that has adapted with ease to the monumental changes in the Irish traditional music landscape of the last two decades.

The Kilfenora features fiddles, bass, cello, flutes, banjo, concertina and accordion, with what "Folk Roots" magazine called "one of the tightest rhythm sections in the world". They have performed at Glastonbury twice and in 2009 headlined there on the Acoustic Stage. The band has also performed concerts in Milwaukee, Lincoln Centre New York, Ireland’s National Concert Hall, Cork Opera House and throughout Europe, UK and USA.
