Daniel O’Donnell’s recording career has now spanned almost 35 years and he continues to delight fans with his beautiful song recordings and performances all over the world. The 30th November saw the release of Daniel’s much-anticipated new studio album Walkin’ In The Moonlight. The 16-track album, features newly recorded songs and includes some songs which Daniel has performed in concerts over the last few years. Fans will be delighted to be able to listen to songs they have loved from Daniel’s concert performances such as The Plains of Old Kildare, Ten Guitars and Old Friends Are Best!
The album also comes with a BONUS 10-track CD with some of Daniel’s best-known and most-loved recordings. Daniel will take his fans on a nostalgic trip down memory lane with old classics like You Raise Me Up, Can’t Help Falling In Love With You, That’s Amore and (Is This The Way To) Amarillo.
Walkin’ In The Moonlight, the title track of the album was written by respected songwriter and fellow Donegal-native Pat McLean and has already become another classic for Daniel. The song had over 2,000 fans clapping and singing along during five sell out shows in the INEC Killarney last August.
Daniel is the UK and Ireland chart’s most prolific, and one of the most successful recording artists. Having amassed 36 Top 40 albums including 16 Top 10 albums, he has just broken his own world record that he set in 2017, by becoming the first recording artist to chart at least one new album every year in the Albums Chart for 31 consecutive years. His new release has just entered the British charts at Number 20.
