He crosses musical boundaries again and again, incorporating folk, rock, blues traditional Irish & classic pop styles into his songwriting. His live performances, whether solo or with a full band, include songs from his extensive catalog of 40 years. Often classified as a musicians’ musician, Paul Brady’s songs have been covered by a huge array of major artists.

An evening with Paul Brady on stage is a captivating experience, as he invites you into his world of songs and music in a way that will surprise in its intimacy, sense of fun and raw power. By now a well-loved ‘elder statesman’ of the Irish musical community, he continues to garner respect and admiration from today’s younger writers and performers. Glen Hansard, Imelda May, Wallis Bird, Declan O’Rourke and new kid on the block Hozier are among the many that hold him in high regard. Amble

2024 bodes to be a year to remember for Amble. Their four-track EP Of Land and Sea was released on all streaming platforms on Friday, 16th February. This release coincided with their sold-out tour of Ireland and the UK.

Amble are Robbie Cunningham, Oisin Mc Caffrey and Ross Mc Nerney, a 3-piece ensemble of songwriters hailing from the midlands and west of Ireland. In only ten months, Amble have garnered over 135k monthly Spotify listeners and is fast approaching the 4,000,000-stream total, averaging over 30,000 streams a day.

To date, Amble have sold out all shows, The Workman’s Cellar (April 2023), The Sugar Club (November 2023) (selling out five months in advance) and now sold out their entire debut Irish Tour five months in advance. They have also sold out their debut London headliner, adding a second sold-out date and upgrading and selling out their Glasgow debut in King Tuts. If Amble’s debut EP, 2023’s Amble (Live), introduced a new musing, trad-tinged trio of songwriters to the Irish music scene, 2024’s highly distinctive Of Land and Sea finds the group expanding their sound to an ever-more global audience.

The unique perspective of three individual songwriters creates a peerless body of work that only enhances the now familiar ruminative observations on the world and, more pertinently – the stories unfolding each day within it.

Bruised Orange – A John Prine Tribute

Grammy-winning singer Prine was one of America’s greatest songwriters and combined literary genius with a common touch – for five decades, he wrote rich, plain-spoken songs that chronicled the struggles and stories of everyday working people and changed the face of modern American roots music. When he passed away in 2020, John Prine left behind an extraordinary body of folk-country classics.

Boasting some of Ireland most experienced musicians, the Bruised Orange band is made up of Michael ‘Mike Mack’ McGarry (Rhythm Guitar & Vocals), Anthony Toby Cregan (Lead Guitar, Vocals), Derek Matthews (Bass & Vocals) James Quinn (Keyboards) and Shay Carry (Percussion). Each member brings a unique set of talents and abilities to the group which provides for a unique live John Prine experience. The show is fronted by Mike Mack McGarry who accurately reflects John’s vocal range with similar ease of delivery, an affected twang and drawl, which thrive of a peculiar, domestic relation to country, folk, rhythm and blues. His storytelling and short anecdotes are also a testament to a Bruised Orange live show.

Lead guitarist Anthony Toby Cregan is one of Irelands most revered guitarists, His style and playing reflects that of Jason Wilbur, Prine’s go-to guy from the early 1990’s up until John’s death. Bassist Derek Matthews is known from one of Irelands top wedding bands ‘Stop the Clock’. His double bass and look again reflects that of Prine’s bass man Dave Jacques. Drummer Shay Carry is the backbone of the band with his unique style. Shay has toured extensively with some of Irelands top country artists.
