An Audience With Liverpool Legends

The Ultimate evening of Liverpool legends with Ray Houghton and Peter Beardsley on stage together hosted by Jed Stone. The evening will be full of entertainment and banter as you can well expect, so sit back and enjoy!

This House a Home – Culture Night

Join local historian Brigid McCarthy on an audio tour through Cork Opera House, exploring hidden parts of the building and the history of this cultural landmark; a symbol of music and theatre for the people of Cork since 1855.

As we delve into the building’s history, including the destruction of Cork Opera House by fire in 1955, we learn the impact of the past on the present, and how people of Cork truly feel about this building today.

Interrogating who gets to call the Opera House a home, and why some people get to feel more “at home” in cultural spaces than others, This House a Home asks of its audiences: can Cork Opera House ever be a space where we all belong?
